Older equipment reliability may be unpredictable but is no less important. New or replacement equipment may be necessary to support existing contracts or obtain new ones.
Acquiring equipment, while critically important to capturing or expanding business, remains a cautious expense. Financing possibilities are available for used, rebuilt (remanufactured) and new equipment purchases. Please contact DCM if you would like that information.
You have responded with many questions and favorable interest for repair, rebuild and refurb possibilities for your equipment as an alternative to new equipment purchases. These are each completely remanufactured lifts after complete teardown, structural repair, sandblast/prime/customer color paint of all structural parts and cleaning/testing/replacement of EVERY component including all hosing, electrical components, engine and safety system elements. These are essentially new machines based on the original lift structure. Each lift’s invoice itemizes all the new and replacement items for warranty support. This effort is offered with an overall 90 day warranty, any applicable new component warranties, 3 year new engine warranty and 3 year structural warranty. Remanufactured lifts are priced roughly 1/3 less than new equipment pricing. The remanufacture process completed on your lift is roughly 1/2 the price of a new lift.
Factory Service & Repairs
A fixed price can be quoted IN ADVANCE based on equipment review, routine service items and customer preference for repairs, part replacement and/or selected system upgrades. Temporary field repairs will be removed and replaced with current equipment/parts where possible. All repairs/upgrades are customer authorized. Selected system upgrades may be chosen. Warranty is limited to documented work completed and parts replaced. Payment for quoted component parts may be required in advance with final balance due upon completion depending on the complexity of the repair and part sourcing requirements. All machine versions are eligible – steer wheel/foot pedal controls, joystick/chain drive and joystick/gearbox configurations for Polecat 266, Step Two 266, Step Two 420 and 380 units.
Remanufacture and/or Upgrade Your Machine
Similar to above but can include complete dismantling, sandblast, powder coat repaint in customer non-custom color preference, reassemble using new and original parts as required or preferred. Effort includes resealing the cylinder(s) and wheel hubs, confirming all drive, hydraulic and electrical components, includes new hosing, may include rewiring as necessary and a new engine. Selected system upgrades may be chosen. Click here for examples of a completed rebuild. A fixed price is quoted IN ADVANCE. Pricing is approximately 1/2 of new equipment but reflects the original lift operating characteristics and capabilities. Payment for quoted component parts may be required in advance depending on the complexity of the effort and part sourcing requirements. Final balance due upon completion Warranty will be 90 days overall, any applicable new component warranties and up to a 3 yr structural warranty. All machine versions are eligible. A remanufactured lift will meet the applicable ANSI Safety Standards at the time of its original manufacture.
Remanufactured Equipment Purchase
Remanufactured equipment sold by DCM will meet the applicable ANSI Safety Standards at the time of its original manufacture or better. Purchasing a remanufactured lift from DCM is approximately 1/3 less than new equipment but reflects the original lift operating characteristics and capabilities. Includes complete dismantling, sandblast, powder coat prime and color topcoat paint, reassemble using new and original parts as required. The cylinder is resealed or replaced, new bearings throughout, all hydraulic and electrical components confirmed or replaced, new hydraulic hosing, new electric wiring and new engine. Selected structural and system upgrades are included. Wheels and tires are new. The original safety system is operating. Pricing is fixed. Trade-ins are considered. 90 day overall warranty, 1 year new component warranties are itemized on the invoice, 3 year engine and structural warranties and 5 year rust through on paint. Financing is available. Delivery timeframe is based on source machine availability. Both foot pedal and joystick controlled lifts are generally available.
New Equipment Purchase
New SWIFT product features design improvements for serviceability, structural strength, reduced weight, operating performance and safety and is available with either standard or pivoting platform. Each unit exceeds ANSI Safety Requirements and DOT Regulations. Lifts include a structurally enhanced frame, replaceable, self-aligning bushings for boom and platform pins, aluminum enclosure, aluminum fuel tank with twice the fuel capacity of prior lifts for all day operation and larger capacity aluminum hydraulic reservoir with cleanout. The all aluminum platform reduces weight and features integrated tow lights and tool tray (standard platform) or tool hangers (pivoting platform). Transit speed and gradeability are increased, positioning speed is automatically reduced with a raised boom and the safety warning system is automatically activated. The EFI (electronic fuel injected) engine speed is automatically controlled by the joystick to reduce noise, reduce heat, reduce fuel consumption (approx 20%) and increase starting reliability from the platform. Pricing is fixed. Trade-ins are considered. 90 day overall warranty, 1 year new component warranties, 3 years new engine, 5 year structural warranty and 5 years rust through on paint. Financing is available. Delivery timeframe up to 8 weeks depending on unpredictable supplier leadtime if not in stock. Units ordered for production can be supplied in customer non-custom color preference.
Used Equipment Purchase
DCM offers used equipment at a fixed price depending on machine features. All factory service and repairs are completed. Each machine is fully operational with all repairs and upgrades itemized on its invoice. Each unit is offered with a limited warranty. Financing is available for any used lift purchase.
